Under the cover of a donated book #16

British writer Lucy Wood has written three books, all of them available in the Sea Library: Weathering, Diving Belles and The Sing of the Shore, which came out last spring. It’s a book of 13 stories, full of secrets and ghosts, set in Cornwall by the sea, and you can read my review here. This year a paperback is published with a beautiful cover and a mermaid’s purse or shark’s egg case on it. Lucy Wood has donated the book to the Sea Library. Come, borrow, read!

Britu rakstniece Lusija Vuda ir sarakstījusi trīs grāmatas: Weathering, Diving Belles un The Sing of the Shore, kas izdota pērn pavasarī un ir 13 spokainu un noslēpumainu stāstu krājums par dzīvi piejūras Kornvelā, Lielbritānijā, kad atpūtnieku sezona ir cauri. Manu recenziju vari izlasīt šeit. Šogad publicēts skaists grāmatas mīksto vāku izdevums ar tā saukto nāras maciņu jeb haizivs olu somu uz vāka. Autore grāmatu dāvina Jūras bibliotēkai. Nāc, aizņemies un lasi!
