Gaze, Swim, Read

“I need the sea because it teaches me,” writes Chilean poet Pablo Neruda about the university of waves. I need it too. What exactly does the sea teach me I have yet to understand. My relationship with the sea soon turned out very wet and also very bookish. I gaze at the water, swim in it, but I read about it too. The ever-growing Sea Library is the result of my never-ending love affair with the mesmerising sea. Forever there. Never the same. Write to me, wherever you are, if you want to borrow some books and read about the watery part of the world, too.
